:Yes, that is pretty much exactly how it is depicted in the movies. I must say that this is not the way Parseltongue is characterized in the Harry Potter books. As far as I understood it, Parseltongue is a language consisting entirely of the kind of hisses snakes utter naturally, and not phonetically human-like.
