There's not really much to say. I'm a student and I sell modern furniture part-time. I've been working on the Islysian (formerly Illyrian) language and its concountry since roughly 2004, but the first year and a half was plagued with linguistic ignorance and capricious reinventions. The language has existed in its present form since January 2006, and I work on it every day. I keep an Islysian-language blog which can be found [http://ilieska.blogspot.com here].

It's equal parts artlang and altlang, and my goal is to make it feel as much like a natlang as possible. I want it to be obviously Indo-European, but impossible to classify any further: an I-E isolate.

Me, well... My favourite band is Radiohead, my favourite film is The Royal Tenenbaums, and my favourite book is Catch-22.

Feedback is always appreciated. I've been a lurker in the conlanging community for far too long.

There's not really much to say. I'm a student and I sell modern furniture part-time. I've been working on the Islysian (formerly Illyrian) language and its concountry since roughly 2004, but the first year and a half was plagued with linguistic ignorance and capricious reinventions. The language has existed in its present form since January 2006, and I work on it pretty much every day. It's equal parts artlang and altlang, and my goal is to make it feel as much like a natlang as possible. I want it to be obviously Indo-European, but impossible to classify any further: an I-E isolate.

Everything about Islysia can be found here.

Me, well... My favourite band is Radiohead, my favourite film is The Royal Tenenbaums, and my favourite book is Catch-22.
