These are productive affixes in Amal.

ib- - dative for pronouns

• bu- - proximal "this (by me)" for roots with o, u or a

• -da - locative case [LOC] "to; at; in; on"

-ad - for some roots

• -eb - passive [PASS]

• -ed - causative [CAUS]

• -eg - reflexive [REFL]

• -em - interrogative [INT]

• -esh - past tense [PST]

• -eshb - passive participles [PPP]

• -ha - comitative case [COM] "with; by; through"; also used to form adverbs

-ak - for some roots

• -la - negative mood [NEG]

not used with second or third person singular

• -sha - negative mood [NEG] ablative case [ABL] "from; off of"; also used to form comparatives

-osh - for some roots

• -un - reportative marker [REP]

• -ur - tentative mood [TENT]
