This page is a cursory explanation of Vascan slang and a brief overview of some dialectal differences among Vascan regions.
Slang
A few slang words and vulgarities:
- diti - v - finger; masturbate
- dulse per la oios - n - eye-candy
- manica - n - maniac, fanatic; addict; geek, nerd
- peta - v; n - fart; break wind
- pisa - v; n - piss, pee; urinate
- puta - n - whore, slut, bitch (informal: prostitute; also insult)
- puto - n - manwhore (informal: male prostitute); sod, bastard (insult)
Dialectal differences
The most prevalent Vascan dialect of LFN is called Vaskaya.
Orthography
Vaskaya's orthography varies from LFN by using "k" for /k/, "y" for /j/, and "c" for /ʃ/.
