Etymology

From Old Silōs pwzara, pwzala, from Proto-Coelo-Caric *ɸmʃala. Cognates include Carichendan msala.

Under influence from iapiō ("past") and mepva ("future"), second syllable probably from influence of a temporal particle, confer triv ("to cut, to make (into) two").
