Hi,
The categories that you marked "for deletion"- do you want all the included images removed?  I'm hesitant to just empty them out without making absolutely sure.  - bornfor 11:27 (EDT) 15 Nov 2012
Renaming a page is done by using the 'move' tab (next to 'edit' and 'history' at the top of the page) to move the page from one title to another. Categories cannot particularly be renamed; basically you'll need to go to each page in the category and recategorize it. Deleting pages is not an ability granted to regular users; ask a sysop to delete what you want deleted.  —Muke Tever | User Talk:Muke 10:26, 5 August 2008 (UTC)

Hey, Masako! The page https://klingon.wiki/En/OnlineDictionaries at the Klingon wiki mentions the Klingon lexicon page that you started (and I regularly update) here. But they don't know who created it, so I'm going to mention that you started the page and I now maintain it. How would you like to be known on that webpage? By Masako? By your real name? By a Klingon name? Khemehekis (talk) 21:32, 9 March 2024 (PST)

Some questions on Kala lexicon

Yata! A few questions on your Kala lexicon.

  1. Is hasi derived from the Japanese "hashi"?
    1. Yes. masako (talk)
      1. Yay! Got it right! Khemehekis (talk)
  2. Am I correct in guessing that apakipyo comes from a Kalanization of the name "Asperger", plus the word pyo meaning disease?
    1. No. apa means "closed, shut"; ki means "self, reflexive"; and -pyo is from "disease; illness" masako (talk)
      1. So I was way off! (Well, except for the -pyo part.) Interesting that it's just a coincidence that apaki- looks like "Asperger". Perhaps "Asperger" would become apaka or apeka in Kala? Khemehekis (talk)
  3. Your words for girl (nahi) and boy (tahi) directly tie into ntahi (child). What word would you use for, say, a 16-year-old girl, or a 22-year-old boy?
    1. tsonta is used for "teen/ager", and tlaka or tahi would be used for a 22 year old. masako (talk)
      1. I see. So you don't have to be a ntahi to be a tahi or nahi. Khemehekis (talk)
      2. Question: If you wanted to say "teen-age girl", specifying both the girl's age group and her gender, would you say tsonta nahi, or nahi tsonta, or would one or both of the words be inflected? Khemehekis (talk) 08:11, 6 October 2020 (PDT)
        1. "teen-age girl" would be tsontana masako (talk)
          1. Thank you! Khemehekis (talk) 08:43, 6 October 2020 (PDT)

Thanks for your answers. Khemehekis (talk) 18:05, 12 January 2020 (PST)

Ahzoh, Masako has left the CBB for good. His sig on that board now reads "gone". Khemehekis (talk) 13:26, 3 May 2021 (PDT)

Crediting you on Klingon site
