I am Anton Sherwood.
Dad started teaching me Esperanto at age 5. I eventually took classes in Latin, French, Russian, Swahili, Sanskrit, Greek, Hebrew, most of which I've forgotten, though I can still more or less converse in French or translate a motto to or from Latin. I have also picked up some Italian and Castilian.
My favorite auxlang, other than the one I haven't made yet, is Novial.
I have never conned a lang, apart from some notes (lost without regret) on a half-baked imitation of Sindarin at age ~14. If I do, it might be a relexified Lojban with quasi-Japanese phonotactics.
Tamfang is meant as Elvish for ‘copper beard’; I adopted the handle for Wikipedia in 2006. The first element is attested only (so far as I know) in a footnote to an early version of The Chaining of Melko, but I choose to suppose that a cognate survived east of the Misty Mountains.
