Traveller is the most popular science fiction tabletop role-playing game series, developed by Marc W. Miller and originally published by Game Designers Workshop. There are several subsequent editions of the game which are all set in some variant of the same conworld, a vast space-opera setting characterized by the existence of several human spacefaring races, who descend from human beings deported to various planets by aliens in prehistoric times. There are also several non-human spacefaring races.
