Calcoradish is a constructed language created in Japan, and the conlanger is a native speaker of Japanese. This language is called "Calcoradetâr[kalkoradeta:r]" in Calcoradish.

Vowel

Calcoradish has nine vowels. The vowel length is distinctive. But /ɔ/ always appear as a long vowel. And the distinction between the long vowel /i:/ and /e:/ is not clear in many dialect.

There is /i/, /e/, /ε/, /y/, /œ/, /u/, /o/, /ɔ/, /a/.

Each vowel is spelled as i, e, ai, y, oe, u, o, au, a. Long vowel is spelled with circumflex(For example, the spell "â" is pronounced [a:]).

Some combination of two or three vowel are pronounced as diphthong. Diphthongs are spelled with diaeresis(trema), like French spelling(For example "oï", "oë" etc.).

There is /εi/(eï, aï, aiï), /œi/(oeï), /yi/(yï),/ɔi/(oï), /ui/(uï), /iεi/(ieï, iaï, iaiï), /iœi/(ioeï), /aε/(aë), /ɔε/(oë), /uε/(uë).
