Lazea ([lə'zeɪə], Modern Arithide [la'za:], Classical Arithide Lazeas ['laze.as]) is the capital city of Arithia, and has been for the past two thousand years and more. It is Arithia's largest city both by population and area, as well its economic, political and cultural centre, hosting a plethora of organisations

The city of Lazea began as a solitary manor named Lezauris when, after a tour to the Calagian Pass, the Duke of Andebrea took a fancy to the pleasing weather in and vibrant scenery of the region, and commissioned the manor as a secondary, summer mansion.
