'''Artican''' is a language created by Andy Alvarez in 2006.  It is a mixed [[a posteriori]]/[[a priori]] language with influences from Icelandic, Finnish, Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Latin, and Greek.  

It was used to translate several texts, including the [[Babel]] text (see [http://web.archive.org/web/20080412060135/http://www.freewebs.com/arctican/babel.html here]).  The language's home page hosts a rather complete grammar, along with text samples and dictionaries.
