'''Deutera''' is the main continent of [[Zebia]]'s northern hemisphere. It stretches north to south, almost touching both north pole and equator. The most important geological feature of Deutera is a long and high mountain chain running along its southwestern coast. Deutera's flora and fauna is most closely related to that of [[Pempta]] and consists almost exclusively of [[Geological_and_biological_history_of_Zebia#Group_IV:_Boreal|Boreal organisms]]. The continent was populated by Zebian humans around 30 mya ago, by [[Spread_of_humans_on_Zebia#Neonotoids|Neonotoid]] settlers arriving from [[Trita]].
